Worth Avenue is Palm Springs, Florida’s shopping mecca.

Perhaps a bauble?
This was not my average day at the mall. I was in Palm Springs, playground of the jet setters, the beautiful people. You know, people like me.
Problem was I didn’t know where to stop first. Maybe a bauble from Tiffany or one of the other dozen jewelry shops. A frock from Gucci or a handbag from Chanel?

Or something chic for Baby?
I found myself gawking at baby clothes (and I don’t know any babies) and jewels as big as my eye (and I love jewels as big as my eye). With quaint little side streets filled with flowers and artwork, it’s all designed to dazzle as it draws you in and tempts you to get out your wallet.
Worth Avenue ends at the beach, overlooking turquoise waves and white sand, a brilliant sun and graceful palms. I was entranced.

Even in Palm Springs, the view is free.
I finally did get out my wallet of course. At the Island Company. When the slogan over the door said “Escape. Travel. Live” I just had to visit.
