Longwood’s conservatory offers a cool break from the summer heat — and its gardens, too, are extraordinary.
Longwood gardens had long been a favorite place of mine. However, for some reason, I never have gone to visit in the summer. This year I made it my mission to visit while the water lilies were in bloom, something I only recently discovered they had. I was not disappointed.
I didn’t stop there, of course. The adjacent conservatory is a must in every season and the gardens were filled with late summer color.
